  • Last month, you received a memo announcing the upcoming PEO-EIS portal upgrade and migration. As these processes begin in fall 2009, the PEO-EIS Portal Migration Team would like to inform users that the new portal environment will not initially host any “custom” business tools

  • NETWARCOM COMPUTER TASKING ORDER (CTO) 09-10 ORPHAN ADOBE APPLICATIONS

  • The following applications are no longer approved for use on Government workstations and will be eliminated per CTO 09-10 from all NMCI workstations beginning on 2 DEC 09

  • New Online Tool Allows User to Manage Help Requests

  • My Web Ticket, a new self-service, Web-based portal on HomePort, allows unclassified Navy end users to create and manage their NMCI Service Desk Remedy tickets. Beyond creating a new service ticket, users can also view their existing tickets, add applicable notes, initiate the closure of tickets, and attach supporting screen¬shots and documents.

  • Upgraded Mailbox Capabilities (UMC) rolled out to approximately 700 VIP users

  • The UMC solution will provide users with the Symantec Enterprise Vault auto archiving solution add on for each end user's messaging account. The UMC solution will enhance the end user mailbox experience by virtually expanding email storage limits currently defined by the NMCI Exchange Messaging Environment, allowing for central indexing of emails and attachments and a more granular policy management of user mailboxes.
